Meet Dr. Jaclyn Pak

Dr. Jaclyn Pak is a Sacramento-area native, raised nearby in Fair Oaks. She attended Mira Loma High School before heading to sunny UC San Diego, where she obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Physiology/Neuroscience. Dr. Pak then moved to Los Angeles, where she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery and Master of Science in Oral Biology degrees at UCLA School of Dentistry. Active in both academic and social extracurricular activities, she conducted extensive systematic review research on endodontic outcomes, leading to multiple scientific paper publications in peer-reviewed journals. Beyond the research lab, Dr. Pak served as ASB social chair, organizing events for the dental student body.

Dr. Pak’s adventurous spirit and desire for continual learning took her to Honolulu, Hawai’i, where she completed a General Practice Residency at The Queen’s Medical Center. There, she received one-on-one training with various dental and hospital specialists, gaining experience with critically ill patients, often in emergency situations or preparation for major surgeries.

Following her training, Dr. Pak returned to California, working in private practice in the Sacramento area for two years before dedicating three years to public health in rural northern California. She and her husband, Nathan, have since settled in Granite Bay with their two boys, Caleb and Noah. With a large support network in Placer County, including her father, siblings, nieces and nephews, and many of her aunts and uncles, Dr. Pak is deeply rooted in the community.

When she is not in the dental office, Dr. Pak enjoys spending time with her family and cultivating relationships. She loves sharing her passions for traveling, cooking, and the outdoors. Whether it's exploring new destinations and experiencing different cultures, trying out new recipes and hosting dinner parties, or hiking and enjoying nature, Dr. Pak finds joy in these activities. She believes that these experiences enrich her life and help her connect with people on a deeper level. Dr. Pak also enjoys participating in community events and local activities, further strengthening her ties to the area. Her enthusiasm for life outside of work reflects her belief in a balanced lifestyle, which she also encourages in her patients.

Dr. Pak’s passion for dentistry stems from her firsthand experiences witnessing the transformative power of a healthy smile. Volunteering at a free dental clinic, she saw the life-changing impact of dental care, such as enabling a patient to secure employment. This solidified her commitment to the profession. Dr. Pak is excited about helping patients achieve their unique dental goals, whether it's a full smile makeover or restoring health. She finds joy in the diversity of patient needs and the unique challenges each case presents. Her approach is highly personalized, ensuring each patient feels valued and understood.

As a lifelong learner, Dr. Pak continually seeks advanced training and education to provide the best care. She has pursued extensive continuing education, earning additional credentials and staying abreast of the latest advancements in dentistry.
